ReplyDeleteNowhere with a helmet law or massive rise in helmet wearing because of propaganda campaigns has been able to show any reduction in risk to cyclists. The 85% figure is a lie, not even supported by the "scientists" who produced it.
I have lost a friend who didn't have a helmet on. It was the ONLY reason (brain injury) that he died.
DeleteI have found a friend down on a bike and taken him to the ER.
Technician said the only thing that saved him was his helmet. His faced looked like a helicopter blade had a dance on it, but the top of his head was unscathed.
I was raised without wearing a helmet. I have SEEN that I should and I do.
